Prothonotary Civil Case Viewer - The Prothonotary's office allows the public to view civil court documents and to purchase copies of said documents. 
 
Marriage License Search - The public may now access marriage license records dated after 1989.
 
 
Recorder of Deeds Public Search - Online Services provide a convenient and centralized way to search and access documents recorded in our office.  A printable search guide is available from the main menu to guide you through searching documents.
 
Veteran's Grave Register - This Burial record of all "registered" burials shows veteran’s name; birth and death dates; rank and branch pertaining to veterans who lived in Montgomery County.
 
Philadelphia Deeds:  The Philadelphia Archives Deed Book index is available on-line, http://philadox.phila.gov/phillyhistoricalindex/index.html.  The index supplies information pointing to a deed in the Deed Book.  The index is searchable by Grantor and Grantee.  Once a Book and Page number is identified the researcher can then use the deed book reels, located at the Archives Center, for viewing.  The Philadelphia Deed books date from 1683 to 1781. 
 
The Mongomery County Archival Records Department has moved to a new facility.  We are now located at 2000 Old Arch Road, Norristown, PA, 19401.

Birth and Death Certificates: The Archives has birth and death records for Montgomery County prior to 1906.  The Division of Vital Records maintains birth and death events that occur in Pennsylvania from 1906 to the present.   To obtain a copy of these records contact the Division of Vital Records click here.
